The Catholic Chaplaincy to Higher Education in Bath works alongside and as part of the Ecumenical Chaplaincy Teams and Societies of The University of Bath and of Bath Spa University. The higher education institutes are served by an appointed Catholic Chaplain, currently Fr. Bill, OSM - to contact him click here... He is always happy to publicise information about Bath Deanery and items of Catholic interest in Bath and the wider area on this site, for the benefit of the catholic community.

During term, Holy Mass is celebrated at the Ecumenical Chaplaincy Building of the University of Bath each Sunday at 12pm midday, followed by shared food and drinks; while on Holy Days of Obligation etc., Mass is held at 1.20pm.

Various Catholic Chaplaincy events are organised throughout the year, including speakers on topical issues, lectures, and retreats, as well as social receptions. Action Point: "Passion for Life" website: A good site regarding the Human Fertilisation and Embryology bill which is very relevant at this time. Please read the information, and continue to campaign against the Bill and its implications.
